    Researchers at the University of Navarra in Spain have pioneered a technology to put food proteins into capsule format. Thanks to the Network, they are now working with Korres, Greece's best-known natural beauty brand, to apply this technology to skincare products. “As a university we have limited ability to promote our research, so we are grateful to the Network,” says Dr. Juan Manuel Irache, the University of Navarra professor leading the research team.

    The Enterprise Europe Network helps companies source EU funding and project partners for lifesaving research. Swedish firm Biovica and British company Sentinel Oncology linked up through the Network to develop a potential treatment for a rare blood cancer, acute myleloid leukaemia. The partnership has received more than €500,000 in funding from the EU’s Eurostars programme.
