The Group's services for this sector are:

• Providing information on funding opportunities, tenders, EU legislation and programmes (Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP), Europe INNOVA);
• organising technology-oriented brokerage events and company missions;
• fostering the participation of small and medium-sized companies in EU funding programmes (e.g. 7th Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7), Intelligent Energy – Europe);
• providing information on the Enterprise Europe Network and its technology and business cooperation databases (technology and cooperation offers and requests);
• linking the Network with European organisations and initiatives in the energy sector, e.g. ManagEnergy Network/EU Energy Agencies, European Technology Platforms, European Renewable Energy Council (EREC), European Cluster Initiatives
